moving to AZ - emissions testing?

Moving from WA to Tucson, AZ. What kind of emissions test do they do in AZ? Will !egr cause a problem?

If it's a 2000 like I see than you shouldn't have any problem. It's pretty much a plug in to the ALDL and if no codes are thrown and the gas cap passes the vacuum test you're home free.

Question on this emissions....is it the whole state, or just the metro and working in metro area? Looked at the DMV Site and it only shows the surrounding area for Phoenix and Tuscon needing emissions.
I just got into AZ this morning, but my car wont be here til ~12 July..I am in Sierra Vista (FT Huchuca) so hoping no testing period for me.

From what I understand its just metro area's that require emission tests but not sure why you aren't keeping your current plates with the mil exemption?
