...I do have to have my truck back form the body shop before we do this. I'm hoping it's this week. They had to cut the left bedside off and replace it Called Friday and they had all the parts, just have to weld it back on, paint, and respray the bedliner, then reinstall the bed.

like i've said...my car is allergic to the track...I'm pretty close to the FRC, booth and whatnot..They'll pull me up top

 

Smaller pulley on the s/c, getting tons of belt slip though. Got a set of 100mm idler pulleys waiting to go on when I get the truck back, should give me more pulley wrap and more belt tension.

I can stall my converter up to 3000 RPM, I was launching at 1500-1700 when we were at the track. Took out some timing down low to keep from hitting KR on the launch. I think she's got a 1.90 or better 60' in her.

Once I get the pulleys installed and new headers and ORY installed (on order), I'll fill up the meth tank and take her down and do some dyno tuning. Add some timing back in, set the VE tables to compensate for the extra fuel.

Summary:

13.66 @ 104, 2.05 60'
3.0" pulley at about 7 psi
No meth
1500-1700 RPM launch
Stock gutted y-pipe

Soon:
2.8" pulley at about 9 psi (hopefully)
Meth
3000 RPM launch
3" ORY

Only thing I have done that may take away is I put the clutch fan back on. Shouldn't take away much though.

 

MMmmm Chris' truck makes me happy in the pants. Or maybe that's just him. Haha, yeah I'd be down for you help sometime this week. Idealy I'd like to get it registered first, that way just incase it does throw the SES light after we pull that crap I don't have to worry. Anyone know of a website that'll tell you how much it will be to register your car? AZ DMV's site only gives you the complicated formula.

 

If you give me the $100 for the EFILive license I'll tune out the codes for you.

Well just got off the phone with Cottman. Getting a new clutch for sure. Hasn't really dug into the internals yet.

 

Chris I already had the codes tuned out. I just don't want to futz with it and have them pop up again. Those things are just my luck you know.

Dakota, EFILive uses a license for each PCM you tune, unlike HPT, where a license lets you do anything the same year and model as your license. Unfortunately, that means $100 per PCM.
