Default avoiding smog in cali

Im just wondering how you guys avoid smog in cali. My dad owns a house in willits where smog is required every two years. what are the procedures for changing my car over to this? How legal is it? How hard is it?

the way you get around smog laws in california is you move out of the state.

For all of you concerned about enviorment my car is clean i just plan on putting long tubes on my car. Wich will not pass smog visually but out the tail pipe it will pass. And this is just a question hor hypothetical reasons.

Sell your car and buy a Trek bicycle. I don't think smog checks are required for pedal bikes, at least not yet

Last i heard the owners might have to undergo natural gas inspections but not sure.
