well with a factory block, without a girdle it would most like flex the block and break the crank, but since you are going with the dart block ,and most likely associated studs, and good align hone/bore, it should workout well, just keep those heads down, (damn four stud per cylinder heads)

well I'm sorry to say that there is no way you'll make the 1000rwhp mark.....unless those heads are going to be opened up to like 250cc(int)and that thing is reving over 8500+rpm...... .but definetly has the potential for a 500rwhp-600rwhp which is all you need in a 2800lb. to beat most of us in here.....
Good heads but not considering the cast starts from a Intake Runner Volume: 165cc...

"Motor Specs: 363ci R302 based motor 9.4:1 CR, TFS R intake, Fox Lake Twisted Wedge heads (300int. 220ex. @ 600) 75mm Accufab TB, Cam motions custom cam, 5 speed. I will have to go back and look up the exact cam specs as I do not remember them off the top of my head but they are just under 600 lift, duration is in the 240s and 250s, and the LSA is 114.9, I believe. I will get the exact specs. I posted them on here on a cam thread a while back."

besides the first one i posted there all 302 based! Do you honestly want me to show u how many 302's have hit the 1000 mark? And how can u tell me im not gonna hit the 1000 mark when u dont have a clue to wat my specs are! oh yea take a look at dyno of the last one i posted! also i posted dynos from a 351, a 100% stock 302 short block and a bored 302 dart! Trust me your not gonna win this one jst because its pointless to argue with facts! and the fact is it doesnt take all the much to hit the 1000 mark!
