California Invasion: Interested? With the great success of the recent Ontario meet and the always famous Las Vegas Invasion, we are thinking about putting together a “California Invasion”. In conversation with Sarge, the president of the LVFB, it’s our turn to show em how we put it down in Southern California. Doh!
We have some great car clubs through out and now would be a great time to get some plans laid out if there is enough interest.
Some things to think about:
Please post up individually if you are interested, what car clubs would like to help out, attend and make this happen.
Only constructive post please. Note I will post this up on a few message boards, so you might see this more then once.

Some things to think about:
• Dates: After a quick scan of a few messages boards that I personally frequent, it would seem there are a several activities already on the calendar for 2007. I’m thinking this should be planned for possibly July / August? What dates work for you guys? I wouldn’t want attendance to suffer simply because of other events already planned out.
• How many days?: If I understand what makes the Vegas Invasion successful is one, its always Labor Day weekend (September) and it’s the number of events. Friday night car wash n’ wax, Saturday track day, Sunday cruise/BBQ, etc. Would we want this to be a three day event? Maybe just a two day event.
• Activities: We have a lot of great parks for BBQ, Canyons for carving and beautiful PCH. What would we want to include in this meet? Saturday a Meet / Greet and then Cruise, then a BBQ on Sunday?
I think this pretty much covers it. Dates, Activities, locations. I think we do want to keep this as low cost as possible, but at the same time make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. i thought maybe it was starting in another state, or the surrounding states all met up in cali... i'd be down for that.

Since LV just came here, isn't it our turn to go there?
There is a lot of stuff to do here in CA with good planning and timing but if you want a big multi state gtg seems LV would be a better bet. I'd do it by June or some may have trouble with the heat!
Here we have Mountain cruises, PCH beach cruising, BBQ in parks, Drags at CA speedway or Irwindale
LV you can cruise Red Rock on one side and Lake Mead on the other then hit the strip for a Buffet. Maybe some fun at LVMS.
The possibilities are endless, it's just too much

I would rather have the meet here in Cali, both for personal preferance and the fact that I am not 21, so Vegas would not be all that exciting for me. Plus I would want there to be a little more help/organization for the cruise because if anyone remembers the Ontario cruise, there were a lot of people everywhere and a few people got lost, I know I almost did!

whats the age to get a hotel room in LV? because if anyones sharing a room, im staying far far away.
back on 05 i went to hoover dam, and its a pretty nice cruise from the strip.
