TC Swap shop in Phoenix? I need a torque converter swap performed in the east valley area of phoenix. Any recommendations? Also, what should I be looking to pay for this? This is labor only, I already have the new TC.

I'm gonna be doing mine really soon...
But like 300$ for a shop i would say, or near there...

if his Vette is running and out of the garage, he may be able to handle it for you...

book calls for 4.5hrs to r and r trans, plus .5 for converter change. should consider getting a converter seal replaced while your in there.
average shop is 65-85 a hour labor, easily $300 + for labor.

The nitrous is ready to go in pretty much...It shouldn't take too long, but I just have to plan it so that my grandparents are gone to the doctor or whatever...The converter will have to be done elsewhere because I don't have the necessary equipment, and I don't want them to walk out and see me with the tranny out of the car...
I just was on a mission with my grinder earlier where I took off about 3/8" of the fender lip to stop the rubbing...Takes off like a SOB now...
But anyway...i'll give you a call tomorrow night, i have to take Steph back to the airport at 12:30 tomorrow night and yeah...we'll be around...
