Hopefully you've replaced your slave since you've got it apart. I wouldn't do the mity vac if it's an old slave. Just saying. And hopefully you're using a GM slave, they cost more but are a lot better! Are you the guy from Clarimont?

It sounds like you want to bleed your system without taking any parts out. Might as well replace all the fluid while you are doing this. I think you want to do a gravity bleed. I have not done it myself but have seen it done. Just do a search for it. It helps to have 2 people. One to pump the clutch pedal, the other to open the bleeder valve. Takes about 30 minutes or so.

well... i bled my clutch after my clutch install... kinda hard getting in there.. but its the same principle as bleeding your brakes..
the bleeder valve is near the bellhousing as you know.. YOU NEED A 1/4" drive and 11mm socket.. its the only thing that will fit...
i also unbolted the trans mount.. put a jack under the rear and lowered it a tad to help my hand get in there..
anways.. get the socket on.. crack it a 1/4 to 1/2 turn.. have some one pump and another person to watch the fluid level..(same as bleeding a brake).. you can try and slip a 1/2 clear hose on the end but its a bitch.l... so bleed until you see the new fluid some out (i used ATE Super Blue, that way i can tell when the new fluid is in there)..
when the new fluid is coming out... and you are sure there are no air bubbles in the system.. pump and hold down... close the slave bleeder valve..
ive done this 3 times so far.

it is not that bad of a job. me and a freind did a new master and slave in about 1.5 hr. Quick job when you do it 3 times..... just get your hands dirty and it all comes togeter...
We found it easer to bleed he systerm on the ground before we pu it together and then again in the car.
