Wish my car luck.... paint booth.. I just took my car in, stripped weatherstripping mirrors everything, they are going to paint it black metallic, looks like it has silver pearl in it. Looks good on the sample, we'll see how it looks on the whole car. Wanted it to be SLIGHTLY different than all the other black Fbodys we got... we'll see how it turns out !!

A shop is Nasty city - didn't wanna go with the cheapest, but my and my friend stripped what we could from the car this morning when we got there. 550$ is what they are charging me... it was originally like 900 ( I got some estimates as high as 2000), but after driving back and forth, they said 550, 4 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear, some uv **** or other, and a lifetime warranty

Yeah, I want to see that paint when it's done!
I really want to get my car shot with something like Medium Spiral Grey (04 Vette color), but my wife loves the black and says she'll kill me if I shoot it something else. A nice Euro-like metallic black would do just nicely.
