Silver LT1 Z28 (not SS)
Ok, so I'm on my way home from Hilltop Mall on i-80 east. I see this LT1 Camaro coming up and as he passes by I see its a Z28 with SS emblems. If you're a member I just wanted to say that its pretty gay that you would re-badge your car to something its not...

i thought LT1 SS's was just an apperence package, and you got both badges. and 98+ it became its own model.... my friend has 96 Z28 SS (as the showroom sticker says) and the exhaust is on the driver side, with 2 pipes coming out on that side only.

The 1996 Chevrolet Camaro is available in six models: Camaro (base), RS, and Z28, each as a 2-door coupe or convertible. Safety features include dual airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), side window defrosters and 1997 side-impact protection. The standard engine on base and RS models is a 200-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine, an increase of 40 horsepower over 1995. The Z28 features a 285-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine and a standard 6-speed manual transmission. Available only on Z28 models, a new SS package increases horsepower to 305, adds an aggressive-style hood scoop, and upgrades the suspension on the coupe.
