i was thinking more like under 3,000. I know you get what you pay for but i dont mind an old bike, its just for work. and yes its also a crotch rocket but you get the point.

2007 Honda CRF50

1000 now only on its second tank of gas... less than 8 hours of actual runtime

Only problem is it only does 38MPH your gonna have to take the streets home...

make sure you go see the bike first, in the ad it said that it has been garaged for 4 years. Bikes dont like to just sit, many things like seals battery and other stuff go bad quick. Just check it out. make sure no rust in the tank is one of the main things and If gas was left in the tank make sure its not sludge now (cause many of problems with the fuel system)

You can buy a new (06+) Ninja 250 even at the dealership for $3,000 or under. If he's just looking for something small to get around on, they're not much on power, I had one back when. My '05 Ninja 250 was $2500 at the dealer with 1200 miles on it, perfect condition.

true, true.... letting a bike sit for a year is bad, let alone 4 years..
