camp pendleton smog station?
camp pendleton smog station? i have a question about the smogging of our cars on base. how **** are these guys with modded cars? i dont wanna put all these parts on my car only too have to put it back to stock in a year or so. its tagged in cali which really sucks. just wanna know if anyone has any experience with these guys or if they are susceptible to a lil $$ to overlook my mods!
buddy of mine didnt have the cover over his air filter on his 01 vette.. they never noticed.. just before that, we had gone off base and they wouldnt smog his car because of it...

you have to get it smogged on post? and i thought they require a ca smog to give you a sticker, regardless of where your car is registered so that's out. I'm retarded and still have Cali plates when I could just register in Co so I smog for no reason 
I have IL plates on both my cars, and I still have to smog it to CA standards to drive it on base. It is gay.
You dont have to take it on base, just go to some of the test only stations in Oceanside. Theres like 5 of them on coast highway. If your going to mod your car in Cali, be prepared to be able to put it back to stock. All it takes is a ticket for illegal mods and your fucked. They have been crushing cars that have illegal mods that were caught street racing.....

I have yet to meet a cop to look under my car to se if its been tampered with though, kooks long tubes no cats and true duals dumped and a ms4 cam and heads, and I removed the egr system. no problems. I dont know about over by the base, I live in oceanside, but got someone to pass me in garden grove, $200 smog. better than changing everything back
yeah we have smog stations on base u have to go to even if u arent a cali resident. its gay. first time i went the guy made me put my stock throttle body back on to pass my car. fuc(*n people have nothing better to do
