Find something that you can't pronounce the name too.... it'll have a totally diffrent flavor than the larger commercial companies like johnny, and even glenlivet.

look for a company called Ardbeg it comes in a green bottle and has one of the most interesting taste ever, price is from 50-150 depending on the age. age.... they have a 18yr thats 116 proof and the Ardbeg Beist 1990 is somthing prob even your girlfriend will enjoy.

I'll add Black Velvet and Albertson's brand for the hair-on-the-chest effect.

I've got the 12 and 16 yr. single malts that will probably take that long to drink. Since my in-laws are Mexican, I keep a nice bottle and a shitty bottle of tequila on stand-by. I'm partial to the Anejo's for the good stuff.

Whats funny, is that someone would keep a bottle for a very long, loooooong period of time w/o opening it, and theyre thinking that its still aging in the bottle

Not at all my "old bottle" wont be opened for sentimental reasons' maybe for a real special occassion.

The only reason you keep a bottle is if supply was low for that given year or if it's a special blend/reserve that you have a feeling will be worth money later on.
once it is bottled it will stop aging.

lol! ...You must work in a club. Only club employees know how much that costs off the top of their head. I think most of the venues I've worked at charge $170 a shot. The bottle alone is worth $260.

My dark liquor of choice is gonna have to be Bookers.

Guess you can be right. But most people would never have heard of that bottle before. I've been working in night clubs for almost a decade now and I only heard of that bottle last year. lol! ... I dunno,... I still love my Bookers 127 bourbon.

to tell you the truth it's not all that great.... i would never pay for it at a club or restaurant.

if you want to try it get a 50ml bottle at bevo for like $300 and share it with some buddies.

for the price it's damn good, even better when you can get it under $20 a bottle on sale.
