In a few weeks when all the parts get here I'm going to be installing AFR heads, a cam, ls7 clutch and slave, new oil pump, and ARH LT's. I might need a hand or two. I will have plenty of beer and more than likely we will just end up getting drunk and break something. I'll be doing it in my garage on camp pendleton. I'm going to buy some new tools and some ramps and stuff so if anyone has any suggestions on what I'll need post up.

I don't really think it's common knowledge unless you're in the military, live near by, or have family that are in the military. I don't drive to places unless I have a reason to so I only get out to places that I need to.

I'll give you a tip. The oil pan has to drop just a shade to get the oil pump off and when you do don't drop any bolts in that SOB! (Like I did today to Dirtybird )

So far I have reiceved the ls7 clutch/flywheel/pressure plate, alignment tool, slave, gasket/bolt kit, ls7 lifters, oil pump, timing chain. Still waiting on the heads, headers, valve covers, cam and push rods. Should be here next week then Im going on leave for 2 weeks, so probably the weekend of June 14,15 is when this will happen. I still have to purchase the cam but I havent 100% decided yet. Probably the 224/228 114 AFR cam. And yes there will be BEER. I live like 2 blocks from the little PX (aka beer store), and I dont work on cars without drinking.
