Up until now I absolutely hated the look of the 09 Camaro...
...but this shot made me drool a little:

thats just the demo camaro. the one that their releasing has the dif headlights. i like the other one better. maybe they should have the z28 with the other headlights n have this camaro be the ss? just a thought.....

This isn't the production version... The REAL production version is set to be unvieled in Indianapolis later this summer at the worlds largest Fbody gathering

the z28 has never been the top dog, yes its been rarer but the ss camaro has always had the option for the biggest engine. into the 2nd gen camaro's the ss name was dropped in 72cause performance was so down, they only kept z28 until 74, then after its epa crushed 5,7l 180hp engine, gm finally gave z28 a break from all the humiliation. thats how it went down,
the z28 package was only developed so gm could participate in the scca class with all the other pony cars, as a rule they had to build at least 500 cars available to the public.
btw the new camaro is sick, so what if they put a 4 cyl in it, still will be as fast as a gt mustang, its not like this is the first time an f body will have a 4 cyl, who gives a ****
