another vote for CMS... click on my sig pic

Ryne has owned and done work to LT1 cars in the past, so you should feel comfortable leaving it with him. He's also got all the necessary equipment at the shop to properly diagnose your problems as well seeing as he pretty much just focuses on GM vehicles OBDII+

How many miles ago where the parts replaced?
So you replaced the whole opti, or just cap and rotor? What brand opti did you use?
I would have your coil and ICM tested.

So did you replace the unit with an AC delco unit or some knockoff? What plugs/wires did you install? What gap did you set them at? Are you getting any codes now?

Was that opti put on the rebuilt engine or later on?
Did you have a P0300 before and after the new opti?

I only ask because I have heard far too many horror stories about AllIgnition.

Test/replace your coil. Have your ICM tested. If all checks out...you might have to get an AC Delco opti.

Wish I had better news for you but you're not going to be able to pinpoint the opti as the culprit unless you replace it with a delco unit.
