I don't put more than $40 in my Durango at a time, and it's using 87 now and hating it.

The bird has adjusted well to lower octane.

I found www.gasbuddy.com to be a good tool, if you don't care about brand and just price.

That's wha I was gonna say... isn't an f-body tank 16.2 gallons? If so, and you didn't run out, you were damn lucky!

PS Shouldn't we all be parking it as much as possible these days? My camaro hasn't moved for the past two weeks.

Default My 2-cents.......

IMHO ...
If you have to worry about the price of gasoline you can't afford one of these cars.
Best be looking into trading for a motorcycle, or god forbid a Prius or a Honda.
The best thing about gas prices out here is that nowadays there aren't anywhere near the number of boneheads in my way when I go for a drive.
Another 60 to 75 cents / gallon and I should have the highways to myself.

I'm sure your fuel pump was real happy with you.
I DD an F-body, gotta suck it up and pay the price. I like to think of it as FPG (fun per gallon) rather than MPG.

It cost me 94.10 to fill up the Montero the other night. That's the most I've ever spent on gas (87 octane)
