Default painting valve covers?

is it ok to reuse the stock valve cover gaskets when i pull them off this weekend to paint the valve covers? im painting the valve covers and coils red and the brackets metallic black.

yeah, they are a thick rubber. just clean them with some hot soapy water and install them when done.

You have to force them into the grove, when out of the cover they will be longer just keep smashing it in until it's tight.

it took me like 6 tries till it came on to place complete, the gasket kept falling off. its not worth resueing them man, after i saw my originals i just threw em away! the new ones were way better

didnt screw anything up. except i had to rush it and it didnt come out as good as i would have liked. but it still looks 10x better than stock.

im an idiot when it comes to posting pics on this site but here is some from the valve cover and coil painting. also installed my camaro insert letters yesterday too. they are the reflective black vinyl.

If you use imageshack.us it will allow you to resize them when you upload them.
