The event included all the pomp and circumstance you'd expect, including an appearance by notorious hot-shoe, Steve Millen. Alison, a long-time Nissan fan whose garage has housed a number of sports cars, including several 350Zs, was grinning from ear-to-ear while he got a rundown on this black GT-R in Premium trim. Not surprisingly, Alison paid sticker price ($72,900) for his GT-R, likely to be the first and last to do so as owners begin taking delivery of their own GT-Rs in the following weeks.

Saw one first week of june right by the beach. Just chilling in a lowes parking lot with black tape over the emblems. Nothing else just the emblems haha. Thats when Nissan was saying they were not in the US yet.

The thing that is wierd about them, as far at stats go, is that everyone I've read about being tested comes up with waaayy different numbers. I wonder how long it'll be before one of the new owners do real world testing, ala 1/4 mile, to really see what it'll do.

look hands down that thing is the sickest thing to come from that side of the globe. I remember reading about it last year, and it became more and more evident as time passed that we(american performance cars) are in trouble.
Props to anyone one who takes one down.
