Exclamation head porting in southern cal?

i got a set of 243 heads, i want a shop to port them to stage 1, any idea on the cost and who can do it?

check out machinetech in oceanside. They do some really good work and the guy who owns it (Mitch) is a real good guy. Does all the work himself. They CC'd and milled my AFR's for 100 bucks.

ROB @ SP, your already right by him anyways.... and if I remember its like 700 or something for full CNC work and what not. Could be off a little but yeah. And they will flow like hell

ok cool ill call around, this is a budget build, and im trying to hit 400whp with under 1k.

806 ported and polished. Never used after p/p, was selling them for 500. That would have left enough for cam and misc bs

Well he already got the intake and exhuast and ****, so a decent size cam and even a little port work should get pretty damn close.

all u need a descent cam-350
used 243s,that i got 450
200 left for gaskets, i think i can do it, some guys are making 390 rwhp all cam, with some better flowing heads easly 400
