Where to take engine for Forging?
Where to take engine for Forging? Does anybody know of a good shop were I can take my engine to get worked on? Bore and Hone, deck, etc. I would like to get some forged rods and pistons and keep the stock crank. Im going forced induction and would like to get any opinions or if anyone has had experience with any local shop, I dont want to ship.

I take my car to Rob at Strictly all the time. I already checked with him. Just want to know what else is out there. Thanks for the input guys.

I have had block work done by Burbank Speed And Machine back when I was building my 406 and putting it together myself and they did very nice work.
If you are looking for a shop to do everything for you, my vote is for CMS. A bit of a drive, maybe 90 miles, but worth it. I am just south of you in San Fernando btw

Give us a call and we will do our best to work with you... It's normally better to buy the parts through the person you are having the motor built that way we know the condition of everything when it comes in rather than trying to call other shops if we have to get something replaced on warranty.

He gave a great deal and is a good guy to work with. Rob usually does all my work.I'll be giving you guys (sponsors) on Monday regarding the engine.
Now to decide if I want to stroke it to a 383 or just keep it 347
. I dont want to have too much grunt down low and not be able to put it to the ground like if Im at a skating rink. Decisions decisions
