Anyone on the West Coast paranoid about safety?
This dude has a serious issue and seems to think i'm crazy for saying so. He carries a loaded weapon around in his own house, and thinks there is nothing a lil off about it.

Ehh... I guess we come from different places. I feel naked not having a CCW out here. Considered becoming our apartment manager just to make it easier to get one (could file saying I deal with a lot of cash/checks late at night).
My father had one or two guns on him at all times (had a CCW). Hell, at my friend's wedding last year in FL when they guys said, "Let's do a "guns" shot" the photographer, assuming they meant they were going to flex, about **** a brick when they all started pulling hand guns from various places under their tuxes
You can say it is redneck but this town f@cking riots and burns things when the Lakers don't win... Anyways, I don't carry around the house because:
A) My APARTMENT is not that big...
B) I have **** all over the place if I need to grab something

I'm firearms certified out here and know the rules and even though I wouldn't carry in public I don't feel comfortable owning a gun without one, just grew up around it (family in law enforcement as well).

I agree that I think it depends on your area, and your up bringing. If you've been raised in a "firearms" type family, than you're probly comfortable with the lifestyle of always having guns around.
I use to carry, and sometimes still do, an expandable ASP hidden in my car. In my opinion it's one of the best self defense tools ever made. It's light, well balanced, compact, very strong, and will crack a fukin skull open with ease.....quite literally.
