Yeah, $20 is no big deal, but paying for a forum is wack.

Once I get my car up and running, I may sign back up.

Thats what i thought about paying, that it is stupid. I am not 100 percent sure if i want to sit there and try to read through all the BS bickering, name calling, and all around slander thats thrown around there. Grow up already.

Either way i dont think i am going to pay but i might just cause there are some contacts that i need to keep in touch with there.

I think tony still working on limited access, but not sure if that gonna happen. $20 is well worth it if your local. Theres alway events, cruises, some dynodays and so on. Since its local you can always meet up with other members and ask for help with anything you need. People that complain are the ones that are not really involved, if you were to go out on saturday and meet the other members you would see mostare really cool. I say give it a try.

What people dont understand is that SMC is a small local forum. There is no sponsors or any form of income. Tony has to pay out of his pocket to keep the site up, so helping out with $20 is not bad. Like i said give it a try and meet new people, instead of just ramdonly posting from time to time. Thats the best part of a local forum, you can actually meet the other members.

I paid just for the reason Dabeztz28 said. I know Tony, hell my gf lives on the street behind him. The fact he pays out of pocket for the site, and the fact he has helped me out, along with other members, justified it for me. Going up to Tucson when I have the chance, and hanging out with some of these guys is well worth it for me, and enough for me to pay that one time $20.

Yeah I'll probably end up paying once I get the car running again. Hell, you even get a shirt.
