i bet they had 2 options at first.
1. if the bailout passed, the retreat was on and everyone was promised something at the spa.
2. if the bailout didnt pass, BBQ at CEO frank's house, with his wife giving out massages

Well, since we now own 80% of this company, we should fire them for wasting our money.

I dunno, all these bailouts are BS. Yeah it would suck to have institutions like BofA go out of business, but whose fault is it? Their own. Too many banks made too many bad loans. If BofA was to go out of business, SOMEONE would step-up and start lending money. Thats how it should be.
How is it that I pay my bills on time and dont over extend myself, yet i dont recieve any breaks on my loans. The housing market got so out of control, yet people still bought houses. Just becasue you say its worth 500k doesnt mean it is, and people unfortunately need to learn that lesson. Im sorry. But by the same token, no one is going to bail me out for the money ive lost in stocks.
Then they wonder why businesses that missuse the lending ability are now missusing their bailout money... Say it isnt so! Im sure some of the places recieving the bailouts are still expected to go under, so why not?
