Whats my LS1 worth? I have a meticulously maintained LS1 5.7 from a 2002 Z28 with 80k miles. I am doing a 5.3 turbo swap and may keep the LS6 intake and put an LS1 on it if it isnt worth me to keep it on there. I will keep all the accessories needed (alternator, etc) required for my swap.

I would say between 500-1000 depending on your area and the demand for them. Would definitely be more if you were including everything, b/c its a turn off for people doing a swap b/c those little things will nickel and dime you to death. But overall the price of LS1's have gone down in general a lot since newer LSx's have hit the market and have been around for a few years, (why swap a LS1 when you could swap a LS6) Ive seen complete LS1's complete with accessories in the 1300-1800 range but it really just depends

That seems really low...I suppose if I would only get less than $1000 for it, I wouldnt come out ahead enough to make it worthwhile. I saw one in the classifieds with 55k on it for $1800 so I hoped I could get around $1300-1400 for mine.

the one im yanking out of my car to replace with a ls6 has high miles and needs a oil pump and i wont sell it for less then a grand for just the bare long block. if yours is in good shape and comes with anything then its worth more then grand.

Are you selling the blown LS1? Whats wrong with it? I'm a little confused. Good luck with the build though. I keep wanting to do a turbo 6.0 on the truck
