Default Was just offered 15k cash for my car.

So, I was just made a cash offer of $15k for my car. Im torn about what to do because I really love this car but also want to get going on building an all out drag car (I cant bring myself to cut this car up, or it would become the drag car.) It would also get me out of the high interest car loan that I have on it. Car is a very clean 2002 WS6 White exterior, camel interior, 56k miles, m6, monster 3 clutch with tick master cylinder, Texas speed ms3 cam and dyno tune, true duals, eibach lowering kit, black C6 ZO6 replicas. Nitrous stuff will not go with the car. Any thoughts?

i say take the cash while its on the table thats a good offer and theres tons more ws6's for you to buy later with cash or a better rate. Dont get me wrong you will miss it, but you'll have a ton of fun building a drag car.

I have a 00 white ws6 with 28k miles on it and the ebay listing just ended with the highest bid at 12,810.Just shy of the reserve too.I would take the 15k if I were you especially in Cape Coral, you can about buy a house for that.

If that person is serious, you better take it. Especially since you are actually thinking about selling it...if someone offers you the $$, take it and run..

I have a 2002 z28 that caged, h/c/i with a 150 shot, built auto, stalled, 12 bolt, and I would probably be signing over the title right now if I got offered 15k cash.... Id take the money while its still available.

It sucks to see how much these cars have dropped over the last few years...... among other things.

haha, yeah houses were hit pretty hard around here (lee county was one of the worst in the nation). We bought ours when everything dropped, thinking we got a good deal, only problem was, it kept dropping.

What people say or offer and then actually pay are two very different things. If you actually see $15,000 in cash or a verified cashier's check, take it!!

So did you take the money yet? Cause you'd be really hard pressed to find someone willing to offer that out of the blue.

Well, when he left last night, he told me to think about it but to let him know within the week or so. To me, the car is still worth keeping, so the way I have decided to go about it is that if he approches me again about it, Ill sell it, if not, Ill hold on to it. We'll see what happens over the next week.
