Thumbs down 1998 1le

Well Ive owned it for around 8 years now and Ive loved every minute of it, but I have some other projects I wanna work on and was gonna try and sell it this year and then a nice storm came thru and tossed a big branch on the back of it, so now it still needs to go but is either gonna be a fixer upper or a partout for someone. It is definately fixable but I cant justify putin the money into and fixin it and then sellin it, anyway it still has a clean non salvage title, just needs a new home, I will try and post some pics or you can message me on here or my email is wilfongtsi@yahoo.com, but heres some specs:

1998 1LE Z28 6 speed
painted Cayanne (1 of 7, 1 Auto, 6 6 speeds)
Just flipped 80k
Long tube headers
SLP Loudmouth exhaust
SLP CME tip and valence
SLP cold air kit
Hurst short throw shifter and shorter shifter lever
18" ZO6 wheels at all four corners, 275's front 295's rear

Thats pretty much it engine is stock never been out or opened by me or anyone else that I know of, driver rear quarter has been fixed once before me and was not really done right in my oppinion but now thanks to good ol mother nature it can be done right, so let me know what you guys think or shoot me some offers?

Oh man, that's just a shame. Sorry to see that.
I believe the best bang for the buck will be as a 'parts' car. The wheels alone should bring some $$ if they were not harmed. The odds of anyone buying a damaged, modded, 80,000 miles, 14 year old car are slim, unless you just want to sell it for something crazy low. Maybe even that is implausible because I have no idea what it would cost to repair that damage. The repair cost could exceed the value of the car. The car would normally be valued at about $7,000 - $7,500 on a real good day so you would have to subtract the cost of the repairs from that. Someone here with knowledge of body costs can assist further, unless you know off-hand already.
Again, sorry about the loss.

Insurance valued it at $8700 and said there was $5700 in damages hope that helps. I'd really like to see it be fixed because its so rare, but will prolly be more money for parts, hard to say.

$8,700 is a stretch IMO but the $5,700 in estimated repairs may allow you to sell the car for around $2,000 anyway. Maybe, provided you can find a buyer. The rarity of the car, although you appreciate it, really won't be a selling point when damaged like this. If potential buyers see the price guide ranges in NADA or KBB they might feel there is just no reason to make an effort to buy the car for $2,000 then hope they can fix it for $5,700 more. $7,700 invested in this car? I don't know. I would just go find another similar F-body that doesn't need all the effort. That $7,700 in cash could get a decent $9,000 'asking price' F-body that someone is selling elsewhere. For your sake, hopefully someone else will feel differently. No harm in trying to sell it, right? Hope it all works out whichever direction you decide to take.

two examples for ya:

There is a 99 1LE near me that has been on the market for a few months. It has 120k miles. Built suspension with the good stuff. Clutch upgrade. the basic stuff. He is asking $6k and like i said its been on craugslist for a while.

Other example is my 94 1LE. 1 of 130 and 1 of 4 in teal. 69k miles. I got $4k for it. THATS IT. yes i know its a 1LE and an LT1 but still very low mileage.

Like everyone else said its a parts car. Unless you practicailly wanna give it away to someone that does acutally wanna repair it.
