here is a long list of mods:
engine mods: 6.4 liter 383 stroker motor. bored .40 over, forged speed pro pistons, eagle h-beam rods, eagle 1000 hp rated crank, comp roller lifters, high volume oil pump, comp 290hr-12 cam 230/244 @ .050 544/576 114 seperation with the 1.6 roller rockers, comp push rods, comp pushrod guide plates, comp 1.6 rockers, comp stud girdles, trick flow 195cc heads with 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves, dual valve springs with .600 lift, etc, etc. harmonic fluidamper, canton 6 traped doors oil pan, trick flow tall valve covers, cloyes timing kit, arp bolts, and studs, 11.5 cr, ac delete and relocated alternator in ac place, crome alternator and it is 180amps, powermaster starter, i now have a 175 shot of juice, and much more.cooling: 160 thermostat, gm performance water pump, oil cooler, tb bypassintake and exhuast: trickflow crome elbow, k&n cold air intake, jet performance maf, 58mm bbk throttle body, ported intake manifold, pacesetter mid tube headers, cat removed, and a true dual magnaflow exhaust with an x pipe built in from the headers backignition: msd digital rpm window switch, msd coil, msd 6al, msd distributor, taylor 10.4 wires.fuel: 42lb injectors, 255 walbro fuel pump, holly adjustable fuel regulator.computer: pcmforless tune with all the extras, lt4 knock moduledrive tran: spec stage 3 clutch, alum fidanza flywheel, b&m short throw shifter, need to get moser 9in housing and axel package. i have the detroit locker 4:10 gear center section, but for now i have 3.73 gearssuspension: bilstein shocks, and struts, 1.75" drop, prothane motor and transmission mounts, bmr shock tower brace, edelbrock weld-on subframe connectors, edelbrock torque arm, umi panhard bar and BMR rear lower control arms, Energy Suspension Hyperflex Bushing

yes, the looks are slightly ugly between the color and body kit. But I can get over that with new paint.

Any idea how much horses this thing is pushing? I think the compression on the pistons are high compression however I hear high compression isnt good with a supercharger or turbo on it. in the future that is what I would like to do.. Im not a big fan of nos.

What is the compression, do you know? I'm running 11:5.1 myself, and would not feel comfortable running much boost at all on pump gas lol

either 10:5, or 11:5. In my first post See the (11:5 cr) Im assuming thats compression rate?

Yeah if it's 11:5 it's not going to be liking boost very much. Not sure about the cam that's in it, but if it has a lot of overlap it won't help matters either

yeah, this guy seems honest. he has all stock parts, possibly even receipts if he can find them he said. A machine shop put together the engine and it has 30-40,000 miles on it now. My buddy has a 2013 mustang with a paxton sc on it. Its at 576hp. I would like to stay as close to him in the 1/4 mile as possible.

Well if you hit with that 175 shot your buddy might have his hands full lol. Hitting it with the nitrous at that compression should be fine, but it's a different story with boost

yeah, well I may would keep the nitrous just lower it to 150 or 100 even. Wait til 3rd before I hit it too. I like the car. But i wanted a ls1 bad. how much work would it be for an ls1 to match this motor for motor?

The car doesnt have ac on it because the alternator is relocated where the ac compressor was. (why). He has all ac components but he said to put it on the stock valve covers would have to go back on, and the alternator put back in its original spot.

Hard to say, but if I had to guess, i'd say a very simple HCI LS1 should easily match that build

To find a good HCI LS1 f-body for 6 grand is going to be tough. If you do they probably are going to have a ton of miles.

Sure you could do that if you don't mind spending more money to create that build. Could probably get one in the 6k range, put a few grand into it, and have what you want

I am finding a few with some nice mods right around the 7k range. I just want to have a very fast street able car that i can take on long trips If I want.
