Default Let's play a 'What's It Worth' game

This car on ebay appears to be a dream for many potential buyers looking for a non abused 1 owner SOM 6 speed example. There is NO RESERVE so let's guess what it might go for.
I feel that the color will definitely bring a premium over a similar example. The low mileage and 1 owner status just adds to the desirability.
I'm in at $17,250.

Don't wait until the last day. That's really not 'guessing' at that point.

I am guessing it will sell for slightly higher due to the lower mileage. My guess is $18K

I would love to have a low mileage SOM M6 but this not doubt will be outside my budget.

Well, if you buy it, that doesn't count.
Actually I'd love to see a fellow LS1Tech member get it, as long as it is accurately portrayed. I have a feeling it is.

I know ebay is hit or miss and some items get caught in a bidding frenzy. Just curious what price other's would put on this car to make in a "good" deal. Color, mileage, 1 owner etc is not doubt going to demand a premium...7 days left current bid $14.4K.

That's why we are playing the game. I gave my best guess initially. This car will command a price which will make it a good deal for both the new owner and seller unless the buyer pays a crazy high price like some bidders do at the major auction houses.
You are definitely right about the bidding frenzy but remember that part of that could possibly be 'friends' of the seller (aka shill bidding) or juveniles screwing around (common on ebay). It will slow down eventually as the price rises. Sometimes a 'friend' will even win the car and then negotiations will start with the real bidder after claims that the top bidder doesn't want the car. Every car sale is different and this one will be no exception. There is no way of knowing for sure what is happening behind the scenes with the limited amount of bidder info that ebay let's you in on. It used to be real obvious but not with the 'new' ebay. Even though we are playing this game we still won't know what the real price will be. It could be the price we see or the price negotiated after the fact. It's far from a perfect world but still fun to watch. It will certainly be close IMO.

Geez, another new 'bidder' brought it up to $16,400. I sure wish we could find out more about these 'bidders' like in the past. Especially where the bidders are located. I would wager that some of these are in a 50 miles radius in CO which really raises the idea of 'friends' bidding. It can really skewer the price. It's so tough to buy on ebay.

*** This is important: If anyone is actually thinking about bidding from here, do NOT get into a bidding war. Stick with a price that makes you comfortable. There will be a real chance that you could lose out on the car but also a good chance that the seller will contact you within days of the auction close. It would be important to negotiate even further at that point. The excessive activity on this car is bothersome to me. There aren't that many buyers out there with $15,000+ cash burning a hole in their pocket.

I called my bank, they just can do it, I already have a new car loan. Found financing at 17% but ya right. I'm about 12 hours away from it, but I would definitely be flying out there if I had the right funding

I certainly agree. $20,201. Looks like 98CayenneT/A is the winner with his guess of $19,500.
