98 ws6 635 hp What do you guys think a naturally aspirated 98 WS6 6 speed M that is very nice both inside and out with 54000 mile on it is worth. It has a 9 inch rear end with Detroit True Track , pan-hard bar, tunnel mount torque arm , sub frame connectors , TT2's with 285/40 17 and 315/30 17 , brakes have braided lines , hawk pads and drilled rotors , Motor is a C5R block bored to 442 CU IN Lunati 4340 forged crankshaft 4.125 stroke, Lunati 4340 Billet rods 6.200" Ross Nitrous pistons , custom grind Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller cam , Dart ported and polished with 2.08 / 1.60 valves , 9/16 ARP head studs , All other bolts are ARP , T&D shaft Rockers , ATI Balancer . Pace Setter long tube headers and Y pipe with High Flow Cats , 255 Lphr high pressure fuel pump with up graded wiring , 40 lb injectors , catch can , Fast 90 mm intake , Nick Williams 90 mm Throttle Body , clutch and flywheel are LS7 with ARP bolts , Tick adjustable master cylinder Motor was built by BES Racing Engines and tuned by Rich Kolb
Sharp looking car! C5R block - BES definitely cool stuff in my book.
Really hard to put a price on the car. Maybe $20,000 with the right buyer. Lot of folks are afraid of heavily mod'd cars.

I agree that people are afraid of.heavily nodded cars, but they really shouldn't be considering the block and the mods. That motor is pretty much bulletproof especially not running any boost or nitrous. With the mods it has along with the condition it's in(I rarely ever see TAs.without cracked door panels) it's black with tan interior I don't see that a lot as far as 4th gens(dunno how rare that is) I wouldn't be shocked to see this listed in the low to mid 20s....Hell, right now on eBay there's a white 99 TA at a dealership with a 454 LSX.crate motor and they are asking 41k.

$15,000 for anyone who is looking for a good looking Trans Am with low mileage. Upwards of $20,000 for someone who wants and appreciates the modifications the car has. Unfortunately, mods are never worth all that much. You often think they should add value to a car, but they don't. Often, it has the opposite effect.
