For you TT2's owners chime in..
Okay, I'm for sure getting a set of TT2's for my Pewter trans am 01' for christmas.
Was curious though, what is the most common, or the best looking offset dimensions for these rims?
They look good with deep look, but not sure what dimensions they are...
I plan on getting 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the back...
I've heard that getting the back wheels slightly deeper than the front looks very nice.
Well anyways feel free to give me your opinions, and if possible post some pics of the set up your talking about.
Also forgot one thing, I'm not a huge track guy atm just an occasional street race and DD, car is not lowered, pure stock actually. Will i have problems with the 315 tires in the back rubbing the fenders?

When you say introduce some issues, if im not planning on lowering the car, what should i worry about? Some people say i will be fine but what should i do to prevent the worst to happen?

you shouldnt have any problems if you are still with stock suspension... but it might depend on what 315 you put on. for example my nittos are perfectly fine (they are extremely narrow), but when i put on my BFG KD im expecting a much tighter fit. the 275 KD is almost the exact size has the 315 NittoDR! wtf
you should be fine though, BFH and rolling the fenders is very easy to do if you have any issues. Also an adjustable panhard bar can help you out.

okay well i had a guy pm me saying that if i get nitto 555R's i will be fine and wont have to worry about it... is there anything i lose with these tires compared to other 315 tires... keep in mind im going to be on street and its my DD. I'm running stock power... so ...
When you guys say rolling fenders... you mean the tire rubs the fiberglass frame right? How exactly are you guys pulling that off with stock power and stock suspension.. it seems like its not powerful enough to squat that low..

I had 11's on the rear of my old car and had no rubbing issues with 555R's but when I went to regular 555's it hit the wheelwell lip I cut it out and got a adj panhard and it was all good.
Car had lt1 eibachs on the front and stock springs with 3/4 coil cut.
Then again I heard the T/A's had more room in there from the different quarter panel design?
