To account for heat expansion of the brakes.

I grinded the calipers to fit the 15x10 ProStars without the spacer. But I run it since it is completely legal with NHRA rules and it makes sure I don't get any rubbing once the brakes get hot.

No spacers when I run the TTII's.
And the 27x11.5x15 Hoosiers clear everything without the spacers as well on the ProStars.

What size is your spacers Curtis? Looks like I need to run at least 1" spacers, Do more of the B F H mod and roll the fenders with these 19x12 ZO6 Aluminum wheels...

1" spacers seem kinda big to me.

The front ProStars require a 5/8" spacer to clear the calipers...so that up front.

Little smaller in the back.

Which brand of spacers does everyone recommend? Going to do a test fit on these soon.

The hub centric spacers, i thought they were only in larger size spacers. I couldn't seem to find any smaller than 1". I'm sure they have limits on the width that you can run vs. the times that you run.

ok now onto pics

this pic shows the distance between wheel and wheel well

here is proof of tire size
