Default Need Help picking Tires

I have 285/40/17's all around . I am a full bolt on + cam and will be doing heads over the winter. I need something that can hook. This will be for the street only. No track use. I need to be able to take curves.
I have done some research and the only tires I can find in that size are nitto 555r's and the F1's.

Anyone that can give me suggestions would be great.

i would go 275 40 17s if you want to rotate then you will have a better option of tire to choose from

The KDW's NT ( new tread) are very nice, but they dont make them in a 285 series.

ive been wondering the same thing. my car is a street car daily driver and i want a tire that will be safe in all weather conditions as well as last longer than a drag radial and still hook almost like a drag radial. so i was thinking of going ahead with the goodyear F1.

I never drive unless it is dry out. I will be pushing 430-450 RWHP this spring. I need something that can handle that amount of power.
