Default Drag wheel size options

Currently I am running the ZO6 replicas 17 x 9.5 up front and 18 x 10.5 in the rear with 285 rear tires. The rear offsets are 58 mm so I had to do the BFH mod but it clears the fenders without issue. What are my options with a drag wheel setup so I can keep my current clearance? I do not want any issues with the fender, I will not roll the lip. Every drag wheel I look at has backspacing numbers not offset so it is throwing my calculation off. What are you guys running or have run in the past that you could recommend to me? Thanks for the help.

Our Bogart drag wheel designs can be built for your car. You can choose any design in the P1 series.

There is little you need to consider, I can build you a direct fit drag wheel setup. You'll be able to bolt on the front and rear drag wheels without modifications to your car or calipers.

If you don't care about having to do modifications to make the wheels fit, weld economy line wheels i.e. prostars/draglites are a very good choice. They are probably the next in line regarding performance benefits. Using them though would be like leaving about 50lbs on your car verses our wheels.

On the F bodies with a Stock length rear end they require 7.5" of backspacing. With most tire sizes available right now and the correct wheels offered you will not have to roll the lip unless you get into the 325 series tires on some vehicles. Now the choice comes down to if you want to grind down your claipers for an economy wheel, or get something that is a little more Bolt on.

The next question is, Are you looking to Just bolt slicks or a Drag radial on and keep your Fronts or are you Looking for a complete package.

Complete package. Prefer bolt on but would like to know what grinding the caliper does for my wallet. How much am I saving? Would just be using drag radial. Thanks for the help.

Severe grinding of the caliper to run the economy designs is needed. Some people run spacers with no grinding, But every car i have seen with economy wheels needed severe grinding on the fronts and rears. Now with Sever grinding on the calipers, A few people have had caliper failure. I would not advise alot of Spirited Hi speed Driving that requires alot of braking.

We offer a package with 2 15x10's with the correct backspacing and a direct fit wheel, As well as 2 15x4 that requires Minimal grinding on the front calipers to work. there is a few threads with the pictures so you can see what is needed. Our wheels were designed for Street and Strip usage, You can bolt our on and leave them on for awhile as opposed to many wheels that are Race only, or For Off Road use only.

you can check them out here on a few cars.

The price on my 15" package is 1140.00 shipped to you with Lugs.

whats considered a "ecomnomy" wheel. I really would not call a Weld a economy wheel but thats just me.

Could I use either a 1/16 or 1/18 spacer on the front with stock studs and not have to grind for the Billet Specialties 15 *4's??

Spacers and stock studs are a no. You would have to change your studs to ARPs, and the wheel would stick out a little more, giving you a bit more of that "76 camero with the cragar ss's" look.

It depends on the size of the spacer. Personally i would grind up the caliper a little and use no spacer, then paint my calipers so they look fresh. You can use a small spacer if you would like, i would say about an 1/8" should be sufficient.

SJM more than likely ment a cheaper alternative over Bogarts or Billet Specialties. And if someone thinks Welds are to much. Then run factory steelies. Or find some used at a price you would be more comfortable with.
