Default 1999 SS wheels? what style from factory?

On a 1999 FACTORY super sport, what wheels did they have?
Was it the corvette style zr1 wheels (5star) or the 17x8 10 spoke spilt 5star? or other?

thanks.

17" SS wheels are 9" wide . . . always have been.

1996 through 1997 convertible SS's came with 16" x 8" ZR1's.

I swapped my 17x9 10 spokes for a set of ZR1's off a 99 SS when I first got my car, they were 17x9. As I recall they have 17x9 marked on the back of one of the spokes, I'll check when I get home from work to verify and throw up a pic.

Here are the pics, this is from a '99 SS.

Before someone points out that this wheel doesn't have the correct center cap I swapped the center caps from the original '98-'99 bowtie style for the '96-'97 SS caps.

It's not .50 it's 50 which means 50mm offset

Here's a pic to show it measured, and before it's asked here is the correct way to measure, it's not "lip to lip". My old 17x11 ZR-1's were 17x12 when I measured them that way: http://resources.coker.com/wheel-tec...rim-width.html

The 10 spokes were optional from 99 on, so they are both factory, just one isn't standard.

^Actually painted 17x9 10 spokes were available '00-'02 and it wasn't an option it was standard on SS's.

anyone else find it to be stuiped how they measure wheels? like a 17" wheels is more like 18-19" lip to lip.... all the measurements are from the center.. just seems retarded to me....
But anyway thanks, thats more then I needed to know. I like the zr1 style much much better.
Oh anyone have a picture (on the car) of the "stagged" deep dish zr1 wheels, that are all around ebay?

Here you go, used to have 17x9.5/17x11 ZR-1's on the SS before I swapped them for TTII's.
