It is ok to do as long as you get the adapter style spacers. But look at the inside of your wheels and make sure that in the between the lug holes, you'll have room for the spacer studs. Some wheels dont have room. I've never come across a 16x8 wheel that would allow this style spacer.

the adapter style spacers are suppose to work great, i jsut bought some 1.5 spacers cuz i got a 3rd gen 12 bolt, 6068 (or something like that) aluminum with grade 8 studs
should have order 1.75s cuz they're rubbing the bump stop, once i get home from college ill be taking the angle grinder to those bitches

i have somewhat of the same design as 99bluz28. ive been running them for a while now without any issues. actually orignal studs had to be cut to get rim to mount flush.. also the ones above are hub-centric mines arent..

Cool Thanks, Ill remove that corner once I grab A Grinder, I just dropped a handful today at sears for a bigass box of tools. Supposedly these slp spacers are supposed to permit the use of 17's on our cars without rubbing, so I'm gonna put em' on since I already payed for em', it makes them sit an inch or more lower, then I'm gonna Roll my fenders and finish up with a pinch of BFH
