This is referring to my Hoosier QTP's slick tires..
The right one is starting to show the cords through the rubber, the left one still has a descent amount of tread left on it....would this have anything to do with the rear end not being lined up properly..

Only thing I can think of is that just the right tire spins on a burnout, which could be low fluid in the rear end or a bad posi.
This is assuming you've been racing.
Otherwise something is the geometery of the rear end isn't right... do you have aftermarket LCAs and a PHR?

I race it a lot, I do have BMR LCA's, but I'm still running a stock panhard bar...

Have you checked for one-legged tire spin?
Do a burnout and have someone watch the left tire to see if it's spinning the same as the right tire.
If not, check the diff fluid, it could be low.
Or the posi might be broke.
If the rear is fine, then maybe switching to an adjustable PHR to center the rear would help.

More weight is on the passenger side tire at launch and/or during burnout. The less weight on the drivers side tends to cause it to spin more and wear faster. I pretty much eliminated the problem when I went to the 1LE rear anti-sway bar. I still had a traction problem on occasion however so I then went with a 1" rear bar. My tires stick like glue now and requires less burnout with this big bar.

Maybe I need to get rid of my stock swaybar in the back, I'm still using it with the 12-bolt...
I should look into upgrading to a new PH bar too...

You should rotate your slicks every now and then to keep them even. I was told this by alot of old school racers.
Just every now and then run the right on the left and left on right. He told me to do this with my nittos (even though they are directional, but that's more for street driving) and they now wear more evenly. My right tire was wearing faster as well, but not now that I rotate them.
