Default Wider stance with C5 Z06 rims

Does anyone on here have any pictures of their car with these rims and they are pushed out right by the fender? I hate how my wheels are tucked into the car. I was thinking about getting some wheel adapters. What do you guys think?

I hear ya man, they actually started doing it around here too, but I think they got made fun of too much and now they stick with spokes that actually fit under the cars and trucks

a 1/2" spacer would likely accomplish what you want, but you'd need longer studs to do so.

The rear 18x10.5's look better than the 17x9.5's (which I also have and don't like) IMO..

Yea, I was looking into spacers, but I read a lot of bad things about them. I was looking more into wheel adapters, but would it look weird because my rear wheels dont have a lip?

Thumbs up

What you really need IMO, is some wider tires on those wheels!
And lower your car out of the clouds!

spacers are fine as long as they are done properly, upgrade to 2.5" arp studs for any slip on spacer.

i would recommend 1/2" wheel spacers and 2.5" studs, but will cost around 190-200 shipped. check out jegs, they have what you need.

Thats what I have. My z06's have a 53mm offset. Don't you think it looks a little weird when the tires are tucked under the car or is just me?

If it stuck out more, you'd have to roll the fenders and do some modification to your fenders to bulge out more which defeats the purpose.

Even an inch would require all that? I mean it looks like there is almost a 2 inch gap between the tire and the inner fender.

my oem zo6 stick out just as far as my stock ss, the main difference is that they are wider on the inside. i think they look great.

What offset are your wheels??

The ones I want to get specify that a 56mm offset if correct for a 93-02 F-body...

Same here.

All the F-body wheels I've seen are 56mm offset. Seems to be the standard.
