Anyone ever put 20's on a f-body???

I have 20's on mine(not z06). I went with a 20x8.5 with 45mm offset. 20" z06 wheels would look awesome. Dont switch the sizes up though(abs will freak out). 20's all around will be fine even on a lowered car with a 245/35R20(for non-dished wheels). Thats what i run. You could go wider with a 30 series or a deep dish wheel. The rear has plenty of room. I think im going to keep the 245 up front with a 265 in the rear. I wouldnt put 20's on unless it was lowered. At stock height it looks horrible.

Diffently not the best looking cars but gives you an idea of what 20's look like.

All those pics with 20's all around look like . The only F-body that looks good with 20's in TRILOGYZ28's car and he only has 20's in the rear. Why go with such a larger wheel and go such a smaller tire? I thought we bought these cars because they go fast and can handle well.
fronts are 19x9.5 with 275/30ZR19
rears are 20x10 with 285/30ZR20
springs are Eibach Sportlines
He did have to roll the rear fender lip!

Larger wheel and lower series tire makes the car handle better. Think about it. Lower the car to get rid of body role, then go with a smaller side wall to prevent tire role. Why do you think all the road course(trans am series and Le Mans) cars have large wheels with low side wall. Trilogy's car is bad *** though. He only had to role the fender because a 275 and 285 is a big *** tire. Dished wheels look better that size but i think the z06's will be sweet.

I personally don't like wheels that large on F-bodies. I wouldn't go any bigger than 17's or 18's. After that, it's just bling that doesn't match the rest of the car.

I had a 20/19 HRE setup on my SS and I didnt like the 20 in the rear. My car was lowered with G2 springs and had a 285 tire in the rear with zero rubbing problems. 19's all the way around would look good, but thats just my opinion.

Onehardmaro,
I know bigger rims and lower profile tires help a car in cornering and handling but not when you go with a bigger wheel then stock and go the same width (16"s) or smaller (17's) when like most of the pics of 20's went with a 245/ width tire. When you do that you really start to hurt the way the car performs because is each corner heavier. I know a 285 is a wide tire.. i run 295/35/18's out back.
