If you buy OEM 17x9 front and 18x10.5 rears the rear will need some adjustments. There's a high spot in the inner fender that needs to be beat down. I'm also running OEM 1/8" spacers.

I needed an adjustable panhard rod because my car is lowered 1.5". At stock height you may not need one, but it helps center the wheels under the car.

The inner fender well is beat down about 1/4" in order to clearance the inside.

Some have reported they did not need spacers. I needed them to clear the bump stops with the rear end extended. The spacers were stock on 3rd gen IROC camaros. I will look to see if I can find the part number.

Spacers are plates that go over the wheel studs between the rotor plate and the wheel. My 1/8" spacers move the wheel out exactly 1/8". It does mean the lugnuts have less engagement on the stud. Therefore the spacers are limited in thickness to about 3/16" unless you make other changes like longer studs.

If you are talking OEM the rears will need some things.

a lot of pounding the innder wheel well and 3mm spacers worked for me.

You said you want chrome though...OEM are gray (unless you are talking 04 Z14 wheels)

You can go with 18x9.5 aftermarket chrome without BFH or spacers. I was talking about fitment of OEM 18x10.5.

tim, my car is lowered 1.5" also. The OEMs fit fine with the BFH a and 1/8" spacers.

I got the spacers from a local wheel/tire place (Good Roads...the #1 wheel dealer in the country ) for about $5 each. They are only 3mm in width, that is very small. So small I don't think it effect the stud strength.

I didn't need spacers but I'm running aftermarket ZO6's from corvette wheel specialist 18X9.5 (265/40/18) front and 18X10.5 (295/35/18) rear. I did get an BMR adjustable panhard rod (to re-center diff), tubular control arms (to strengthen side to side diff. play) and re-location brackets to regain lost traction because mine is lowered 1.5" as well. I did use a BFH as well but I may have not even needed that as all of my problems were solved after the control arm installation. I have "0" rubbing now.
I think spacers can be expensive so I would try it without unless you're dead set on going oem. Remember though with oem you have no choice but 17" in the front and 18" in the rear. The f-body ABS isn't designed for that setup. You'll still have brakes but your ABS will most likely not function correctly.
