MT ET Steets 295/45/17 ??
I am looking at getting a pair and slapping them on my 02. I am just wondering if anyone has had them before, and what they thought about them.. Thanks
Jason

From the Summit site, they say it fits a 9.5 wheel.. that is what the 02 speedlines are right?? I have never measured them

I like them, There a good street and track tire. I also have had a set of bfg's there work well also. In fact I have a set now in my garage.
Just remember they don't have a lot of tread when you buy them new.
Also they dont like water!
Good luck, post pics when you get them on.

these are the only DRs ive ever used and ive heard they are the best drag radial. the 315/35 17s are still spinning a bit even with a line-lock burnout, and will spin good with a really hard launch. ive gotta do a 3/4 throttle launch then get into it.
but i wont say they dont hook well....
that size tire would be sweet on your rim though....

^^^ MIGHTY MOUSE is going 1.33 60ft with these tires ! so i think they will hook hard .....its all in your setup ....and a M6 will have problems on every drag radial ,you need a bias ply to go fast at the track ... street wise you should be fine . run them at 22psi on the street and you'll hook

they work fine, but ur car will sit with a raked stance since the rears will be almost 2 inches taller than ur fronts. ur speedo will also be off due to the tire size, so if u have traction control and ABS or at least abs, those dummy lights on the dash will pop up. i had these on my speedlines for a lil while, i loved how they filled the wheel well, but I think they looked absolutely horrible from the rear. they fit on a 9.5 easily, but they aren't wide at all. my 275/40 fronts were a lot wider. made my car look like it was FWD Thats the past though. I'm sitting on prostars now with a 275/50 M/T, and I love these mickeys.

The 295/45R17 MT's are actually only a little over an inch taller than a 275/40R17. The 295's are only 27.2 inches in diameter compared to the 25.8 or something like the 315/35. So I guess it is closer to 1.5". But they won't be nearly as tall as something like a 325/45R17 M&H. Believe me, I know.

I am thinking about getting these for my 2000 Z28, but getting them in the 275 size. Would they have any problems fitting and would there only be problems with if I went with a 295+ tire size, just like what was stated above about racked up rear, speedo inaccurate,etc..?
I found these tires in 275 on the same site here but why is the tread pattern different?
