EXACTLY!

16", or 17" ?

Only used in the dry, or rainy weather and possibly snow too?

Drag oriented, canyon carving, or put-putting around on "cruise night"?

Unlimited budget, or "on the cheap" ?

They served me reasonably well on my Corvette, but as I said, if nothing else, they're expensive....$1400/set.

You did say run-flats, correct??

I like them too. I have them on my stock 16's, they handle really good and they're quiet. Drove on them for 2+ summers and they still have plenty of tread on them.

I just moved up to BFG gforce Super Sports on 17" ZR1's and so far so good.

I just bought BFG g Force Sport 255/50/16 and I like them. I was hessitant at first because I really liked my BFG g Force KDW 245/50/16, but BFG decided to discontinue that size, so I got the Sports. Good performing tire and not bad for the price. I paid $124 a piece from Discount Tire and currently BFG is running a $70 rebate if you buy four.
