Default Trans am with 99 Vette rims?

How would a white trans am look with 99 corvette rims? Has anyone seen this combo? I was thinking about doing it, but not sure how it would look...Or, if people thought it was stupid...

Here is the style of the 99 corvette rim.

The c5 wheels look great on f-bodies. The deep dish ones we carry in staggered look really good as well.

Awesome, so with these particular rims i wouldn't have to worry about them fitting bad or anything either?

Anyone have pics by chance?

You see, i know those look amazing, but the ones i would be getting are in the pic. They aren't chrome, but that different material...I'm not sure if that would make a difference...

I'm getting all 4 wheels with 3 tires on them for $350. Tires have about 55-60% tread left.

How does this deal sound? Go for it, or no?

Wheels are in great shape. One wheel has a little curb rash, but not noticeable.

I wasn't aware 99's came with Y2K wheels?? They will look fine, not anything too unique, but you can't really beat the price.

I would say thats a good deal. I would rather save for something a little more unique but if you like them then go for it!!!

I have chrome thinspokes on my TA and it looks badass, one of the most attractive combos for a Trans Am imo, with my favorite being CCW 505As. I have my rears widened to 18x12 and my fronts are 18x9.5. That's a good deal, you won't be dissapointed. If you have a little more money to spend go for the deep dish y2ks that oewheels sells, those look so badass!

I actually just bought these rims today for $250 with the two front tires with about 80% left on them, and two bald back tires.

How much did you end up paying for the 275/40/18 tires?

Let me know

I had to do some major surgery to get the OEM C5 thin spokes to fit my 95. I had to grind the lip on the inside of the wheel to clear, remove the bump stops, cut off the brackets, and bash the **** out of the inner fender wells. I'm sure if I were to use a spacer they would have fit better.

I have reproduction C5 thin spokes in 18x9.5 on all 4 corners of my Formula and fitment wise there was no issues what so ever there.

Post pictures of the rears.

EDIT: Added a couple older ones of my Formula. I'll add a picture of my 95 with the OEM ones when I get home.
