Weld wheels for 4th gen help please a friend of mine want to put Weld star on his 2001 Z28 15*10" rear and 15*6 up front we need to know whats the back space for front and rear wheels to look the same as the car in the photo's
are those 7.5" B.S on the pictures? do we need to grind anything else besides the calipers? what about the front wheels what B.S to make the wheel straight with the fender?

Actully the 15x4 comes in a back space of 1.875. The 15x6 only comes in a back space of 3.5 inches. On the rear a 15x8 with a 5.5 back space fits correctly as well as a 15x10 with a 7.5 back space. There will be some modifications required, but they give you the true race look without supporting the Chinese.

to answer ur question u might have to use a 5/16 spacer to make them look even ..... plus if u use a spacer it will cut down on grinding if there is any needed

15/10/7.5 back spacing with grinding on caliper plus a 1/4 spacer on the back and front 15/3.5 or 4 with 1/4 spacer and you good no grinding, thats what i did to my ta when i put the welds on and a friend of my bough them off me for his 2001 ss and had to do the same thing so there you go.
That's an opinion, I know plenty of people who have 3.5's on their street cars. I personally have 4's on the front of my car. I drove it daily for several months w/o an issue, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I had to use a 1/2" billet spacer and do some masaging to the calipers on my car. I hear the 3.5's can get away with a smaller spacer and less grinding. I installed ARP wheel studs at the same time.
No, not really. They're designed for the dragstrip where you just need to slowly turn into the staging lanes and onto the return road. You also get a long time to brake. The street is a whole different situation.
These are 8" wide rear, 3.5" wide front.
I sold them though.

Going with these tires
325/50/15
I haven't decided on fronts yet. I'll probably go 15"x4" unless I see some pictures of 15"x5"s on an 98-02 f body that make me change my mind.
These will be my primary wheels. It is mostly a street car, occasional strip.
Pay no attention to the bumper. I backed one of my cars into another of my cars! DAMN IT!
I sold them though.
