You need to get in touch with someone else from MT. Look up one of the guys that posts on here. They WILL replace it. That picture tells the whole story. I'm not saying you were but don't be a dick and it will get you farther.

probably just a bad tires
I have had many sets on my car and family members + customers with 0 issues.
The 3 cars in my family are street driven with spools even.
I would say call back and make sure to be kind in regards to the issue. There is no reason they should not cover this unless it is found to have been ran very low on tire pressure to cause the issue.

I can't see MT saying that to you. I'm a Mickey Thompson dealer, and in the last 4 years out of all the slicks and drag radials I've sold at our shop, we've had ONE set that was bad, and we sent them back to M/T from our warehouse, and had a new set that same week.
If you run a tire for a long time with not much pressure in it, the tire will do exactly that.
I too used to be a Mickey Thompson dealer and have NEVER had a tire do that. I had a problem with one Drag Radial and they sent me one out no questions asked before I sent the other one back.

they did not say "get screwed" but might as well have. The problem was I was not the original buyer. A guy on CF bought these and got caught in rain once and wigged out, so I bought them. They were braaaaaand new. MT said since im not the original buyer, theres nothing they can do even though it was a defect on their part. I posted this on CF as well and there were a few people that hav had the same problem with these. Sidewall separation. After I took the tires off, I could see cuts on the sidewall of the inside of the tire. These were ran at 30 PSI cold. normal tire pressure.
They were the 305/35/18's.

There ya go- Many companies don't warrantee/replace a product unless you bought the product originally.
If the original owner were local- you could get him to take care of it easily I am sure....or go through the vendor he originally got the tires from.
