Default New wheel combo

I have read thru most of this thread and think this will work.
I have a 2000 ss Camaro lowered on sportlines and I am looking at some MMR Gt-1 wheels.
This is my thought about the set up.
Front 18x8.5 with a 38mm offset. 245/40/18 tire.
Rear 18x9.5 with a 45mm offset. 285/35/18 tire.
I believe this would fit without any issues, is that correct? Thanks for your help guys.

That set up should be just fine.

Need the experts opinion (X-Sta) and the rest here....
I'm looking to buy a set of rims off a 2003 ZO6 that has a
19x11 rim with a 295/35/19 in the Rear,
and a 19x10 with a 275/35/19 in the Front.
Will this fit on a 2002 Trans Am? Bolt pattern should be the same right? Spacers needed or BFH? I don't know the offsets yet.
Thanks for the help.

Bolt patterns are identical, but without knowing either the offset or the backspace on the wheel, I cannot answer your question. . . .

after reading through this I just want to double check that OEM c5 wheels are going to fit my Z28 with no issue. I don't think I need a spacer but could use one to push the rears out a little if I want. Is that correct? If not straighten me out please. I'm buying my bosses OEM wheels off his 2000 C5 and just want to have all my ducks in a row. Thanks

Long time reader and camaro owner...

I have a 02 Z28 that has been lowered about 1-1.25" all the way around with QA1 coilovers in the front. The car also has Spohn LCA's and adj. panhard bar.

Will a 17" TTM 10.5" 44MM b/S and a 285 tire fit in the wheel well without rolling the corner panel or BFH....Thanks in advance.

They may . . Fronts I know for sure are fine, but on the rears there were some that came with a 65 mm offset, that should still bolt on, but would either need a minor amount of BFH on the inner wheel well, or a spacer to look right.

It should be OK. The offest is not quite as aggressive as mine, so they are moved inwards about 1/4" compared to my wheels, and with a 285, being narrower than the tire I run, it should work out back. Up front I have no idea.

I'm going to run a 9" wheel in the front with the traditional 275. I just wanted to see if anyone knew if the 17"/10.5" wheel would fit in the back without having a to roll the fender

Ok Xsta, I still need your help and I have the offsets. For a 2002 TA
Would a 19x11 rear with a 295/35/19 tire and a 56mm offset fit?
Also a 19x10 front with a 275/35/19 front with a 56mm offset fit?
Thanks, You da Man

Honestly, I think to be able to run those you would need a spacer for the front and the rears . . . .

Lug nut torque is 100 lb ft on 16" wheels for 93-02 Fbodys. I would think it's the same on 17" wheels.

i got a question probably already been answered hundreds of time tho and im sorry about that...

i just bought some OEM 18 10.5 zo6 wheels with 35 295 tires (but thinking of 315 in the future)

i bough some 5/16 spacers and arp wheel studs ARP-100-7708, 12mm x 1.5 should be in this week
i know the vette wheels will fit with a bfh mod but i want them to be flush with the fenders.

just wondering do you think that this should give me a nice stance or do u suggest some other spacing.. also im going to rent the fender roller but will i need to do the bfh mod or can it wait till i get 315s?

thanks

OEM ZO6 offset is 58 mm. Running a 5/16" spacer will net you about a 50 mm offset. Will eliminate virtually all BFH.

With the 295's To sit "flush" with the wheel well lip, the offset should/could be between 38 mm and say 44 mm . . . to get that you would need a 3/4" to a 1/2" . . .

Now you say you want 315's . . . I'd give the 5/16" spacer a whirl first, and then if they are too tucked in, (doubt it) then get a thicker spacer. 11" ZR1's are recommended with a 50 mm offset.

Default 18" Ace Slick

dealing with customwheel.com out of TN, They GUARANTEEE FITMENT WITH"NO " ISSUES!! ????
I own a triple black 2002 Trans Am WS6 convert & I am debating 1 of 2 options WITH chrome Ace Slick 18" wheels (53MM offset front & rear )& the general UHP Exclaim tires, so i need OPINIONS HERE!!
1/ GO WITH 18 X 9.5" WITH 285/35/18 ON ALL 4 CORNERS
OR
2/ FRONTS GO WITH 18 X 9.5" WITH 285/35/18
REAR GO WITH 18 X 11" WITH 295/35/18
I HAVE THE FACTORY STOCK SUSPENSION & WILL "NOT" BE LOWERING THE CAR SINCE IT IS A 7525 MILE ORIGINAL WS6 .
OPINIONS WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST ROUTE TO GO & WHY!!

How about doing 19x10 with a 65mm offset at all four corners...Is that possible?

I've 18x9.5 C5 Wagon rim with 275/35/18 tires front and rear. I know the offset is 61mm. I'm planning to space out the front and rear (front for new caliper, rear to flush the body).

My question is, will this work? Front spacer will be 1.25" and rear will be 1.5". The seller said 1.25" will clear the stock wheel stud, is it true? That's the clearance I need for the new front caliper. The old school Camaro guys using them up to 2" and seems no issues.

I also found this link about the bolt on spacers, hopefully it won't be delete. I can only see information on with this link. http://www.skulte.com/adapterfaq.html
