BFG G Force Tires

Anyone every tried these BFG gForce Sport tires I'm looking at some 255/50/16 for my Formula and just wanted to know if it is a good street tire and is it fairly sticky on the street as well as being good in the rain?

Yeah they're pretty good in the rain and decently sticky for a street tire...definitely good for the price you pay no doubt!

BFG G Force

Just got a set in the 245/50/16 size for my Z

So far no complaints at all, they stick very well to the road, minimal
noise when driving at high speeds, great ride quality even on bumpy
surfaces, and are reasonably priced for a BFG product

What about coming off the line under almost full throttle, a lot of spinning?

After you get some miles on them, they become very noisy. I had some 275/35/ZR18 G Forces on my 99.

They're pretty good for a cheap tire.
I've had them on the front only, I wouldn't put them on the rear.

What do you recommend for a good street tire, I want to stay away from drag radials but yet want a good tire in a 255/50/16, going on the rear of my formula. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at Tire Rack and Discount Tire it looks like you have very limited options on that size.
