Question min tub for 405/25/24

I want to run 24x13 inch wheel with 405/25/24 tires on a 07 to 09 silverado!!!! What is needed ??? min tub and or narrowing the rear end??? Any info would help. This is going to be my winter project so i'm going to need some help to get this done Thanks for the help!!!!!

I've never even heard of a 405 tire...goodluck though...

I think the leafspring is going to be your downfall unless you want the tire sticking outside the box.

There's a guy out in texas ....Name Paco who has done it ..He was in sport truck magazine....

Judging by the pic, it looks like your going to basically need to back-half the truck to get that bastard in there.

well if you are running that size tire I would hope that you will be bagging the truck. i used to run a 345/35/26 on my 89 bagged and body dropped truck. The rear does not have to be shortened it you have positive backspacing (face all the way to the front of the hoop) As well as a track bar instead of a pan hard bar, so it doesn't shift the rear side to side and rub to wheels on bed side. You could still run a leaf spring setup but it would have to be back halved as well as extensive bed modification. This would have to be done regardless running this size tire but you would have to modify it even more if a super C-notch was made to clear the axle.

Oh really? You might want to post on rgvtruck and see if he is a member or if anyone knows him so you can get info from him. I just cant see it fitting between the leafspring and lip of the box side but.....
