Can be a very very though cookie,

Well First of all
I Have a Red trans am (rare right? lol)
I want an aftermarket rim, im into the corvette replica thing,
But i do live in a place in texas that is humid Alot...
My old girlfriend had a set of chrome zr1's
That started to rust after 2-3 years,
so i really want to avoid chrome,
im also not a big fan of chrome.
I would like a High Polished aluminum Or Black with a machined face.
Size dont really matter, i wouldnt mind doing the BFH mod,
i just want a bigger tire then the stock 275,
(I do drag race and i will be using DR.)

I dont like c6 style rims (normal corvette rims, thin.)
besides that I like all other corvette replicas,

I was wondering if any one out there with a red ta with after market rims, can post up pics? and help me decide of what set of rims i want


Also, what do you guys think would be a nice rim on a red ta?
all black,Black with a machined face, High Polished aluminum ... etc.

In OEWheels thread, there's a sweet red WS6 somewhere in the earlier pages, with black C6's, with a chrome lip. Looks amazing. That's what I'd choose if I had a red one. Otherwise, you could try out the machined face DD C5's. I love them on my car, but not so sure how they'd look on red. They looked pretty good on a red LT1 Camaro I saw, and that's what made me want them.

CCW has a wheel and tire special right now for $2,950-$3,500 bucks depending on what size and style ya pick. But they only have a couple styles included on the list for this special. Best bet is to go to the website and pick your favorite design and call them to get a quote.

EDIT: Trans Am's look nasty on some 505A's...
