You are going to run into tire/fender clearance issues

I wouldn't do it. My 7.5 backspace wheels rub a little, 6.5 backspace would be asking for a highspeed blowout if you hit a bump IMO..even with 26s.

My car is lowered with BMR springs and my slicks rubbed bad when i would hit a bump. You're going to have to roll your fenders, i never rolled mine and thats where they rubbed. The slicks were 26x11.5x15 ET Streets.

Why do you keep bumping the thread? You already have your answer. Several people have told you it rubs too badly to be safe.

Have you ever seen the back side of a prostar or draglite/how they are made? I assume this is what you're planning on using. You're not gonna be milling much of that off without having issues....

its actually a racelite and havent inspected the back yet. but i have mill some other wheels and it worked. ill probably just go ahead and buy something with the proper backspacing. prolly wont be worth the time messing with it

What brand wheels are they? And I'm not in a bad mood, I just wouldn't want to steer someone in the wrong direction to where they could have a blowout and end up injured or killed. Save up and get the correct fitting ones. I use 15x10 7.500" backspace and they even rub when I hit a big bump.
