Default Nitto Invo vs. Potenza RE050A Pole Position

Looking for a new set of summer tires for my car. Its going to be in the low to mid 500s rwhp. It's not a drag car though and is a daily driver/corner carver. I've been thinking about either the Nitto Invos or the Potenzas. What do you guys think?

I've heard that the nittos have great traction but the soft sidewall sucks for cornering.

How are you making the power? Boost, NA or n2o? That'll play a factor in your tire choice.

Invo's for sure if your only deciding between those two tires. RE050's are nice tires but have extremely bad wear patterns and probably will barely last you a summer. They wear really quick.

Why not just go for the NTO5's?

They are a great all around tire and offer EXCEPTIONAL traction.

The Invos are a good tire, but IMO they are quite outclassed by the NTO5's.

I actually ran NT05s this summer, love the handling/straightline traction. But the stiff sidewall made the ride absolutely punishing on NJ roads. I have stranos and Konis and when i switched to winter tires the ride was comparable to my mom's audi.

Then the Invos would probably be your best bet.

Let us know what you decide, and how you like your choice.

I know i'll like the nittos over the potenzas when it comes to ride comfort and straight line traction. BUT, my suspension is built to handle and i love corner carving and i've read some reviews on the nittos that they fold over real bad from the soft sidewall.
